Criminals really are scuum in times of hardship, but you have to be super gullible or naive as well to fall for these things.

Dont understand why people still after years and years of being informed never to give up your pin or that the bank will never ask for your password, still do this.

Been getting a fair few e-mails from "amazon", "apple" etc telling me my "account has been suspended due to suspicious activity." Can imagine that a lot of people fall for things like that, especially elderly.

I got one today from eBay
Went into their "proper" portal and nothing there at all about "dubious activity".

For some reason it gives me great joy to keep these scammers on the line and give them fake details of everything and then after 15 minutes or so tell them I work for the FBI and have traced where they are.

I work for a bank and you wouldn’t believe how many people give out their details to fraudsters.
And I mean people of all ages not just older people.

Scammers, let's start with the banks who rob each and everyone of us on a daily basis, to the tune of trillions over the decades.
Why are bankers that continually cause our economic problems never jailed? Because without them the govt could never borrow money.
Yeah, chancing scammers are rotten and deserve a bullet but set your sights higher.
That's where the real damage is caused.

But seriously,..... what annoys me is that the phone companies actually sell the equipment to spoof email addresses to these crooks.
