He had serious injury problems as well if I remember correctly?

Was transferred to Atletico and actually was a first team player for them for a while.

Better career than a lot of others.

Could be wrong on this however i believe he was allowed to leave by hodgson after we made the signing of the century (for all the wrong reasons) in paul konchesky.

Insua had several issues.

first of all he was a short player and not very oggd defensively.

second he had'nt a word of english

thrid he was a bit round and wasn't fit enough when he arrived.

But the reality is he was a rafa player and hodgson get shut for konchesky.

for me whethr a player has a n alright (nothing special) career compared to others who vanish is irrelevant.

He was an ok player just about but like manquillo who is now at newcastle they are average.

No disrespect but thats the way it is.

people need to realise that 9 games at atletico does not mean he won a la liga and copa
