It’s a method being used in other leagues and to be fair reflection on how teams have performed this season. The only sticking point would be the 3rd relegation spot. With 3 teams on 0.93 it would be harsh to lose one

They should do something similar to ppg but factor in difficulty of opponent.
So a win over Norwich at home for Liverpool shouldnt count as much as a Watford win over Liverpool.

Why should a team agree to enter a play off with a team that is 5-15 points behind them?

Teams shu prove they r the best by winning complete competitions. Not just doing ok for a partial season.

Liverpool have already proven with fair play and dig with thay they are the beat this season.
In fact, only one team can even mathematically catch them so there is absolutely no case for anyone outside of that team having any claim to be in a title decider. Man City have a less than 1% chance of catching Liverpool so they barely have a claim.

City were about to beat Madrid and are the favourites
