Some of the most overlooked and underrated ballers of all time:
Dennis Rodman - Inspired by the documentary I think people forget the fact that he, with Pippen, basically made the second 3-peat Bulls defence good. Everyone else got too lazy to defend properly. A more formidable Draymond Green for younger readers.
Boris Diaw - never really got the minutes but was basically like a Magic-lite (or very lite). A really fun playmaker and probably the best passing big this Millennium. Made every team he played for better and his +/- has to be outstanding at Suns/Spurs.
Antawn Jamison - Never mentioned much when discussing recent forwards (I’d class him more PF like Diaw). Made the top 10 for most points and rebounds in the 00s decade yet never talked about with real acclaim. Deserved to make more all NBA teams.
Michael Redd - I love this guy, his left-handed shooting technique is so aesthetically pleasing and he is such a good natural shooter of the ball. Basically what an in-form Klay Thompson would be like in a bad team where he is the main man. Purest of SGs and criminally overlooked.
Manu Ginobili - gets a lot of love and will probably make the HoF but he sacrificed his individual career for the good of the team (which makes it even more respectable). Had he been in a lesser team he would be considered - or at least statistically similar - to the likes of Pierce. Also such an exciting player to watch.
Dwayne Wade - just because he wrongly missed out on an MVP.

well now, I.T was a little bit nasty with his comments back in the day. But he should'e gone in '92.
Underrated, Dominic Wilkins, Penny Hardaway, Clyde Drexler, John Starks. Woody Harrelson....

I struggle to say any of those guys except maybe Starks because they are all talked about quite a lot still.
Harrelson was a straight baller, could even adjust for the wind

I haven’t heard their names really mentioned, I mean they are respected players, but like when they do their players sit down I never really heard them talked about.
Wilkins maybe for the Slam Dunk rivalry with Jordan.

Then again, it’s not like I’m watching nba all the time, and reading what the fans/ pundits are saying.
I got back into it when KD and Westbrook we’re still together at OKC.
But Starks is like he fell off the planet.
Him and Ewing getting terrorised by the Bulls, good stuff back in the day.

Starks was a very good shout though. Basically Stockton without the hype.

There’s a playoff thread?! I’ve been watching the games. Got no fav team in there, but loving the intensity. The Grizzlies games and Boston games have been fun to watch.
Ja Morant has been a whole load of fun, but got crushed the other night.
I watched upto halftime, and saw that last play from way downtown!!
But they got blown out.
Don’t want to see the Wartiors in the finals though.
