Momentum

First of all hello, I'm new to JA606, having only recently discovered its wonders. I did occasionally participate in the original 606, but I will let you guess what name I went by!

Anyway, onto the topic of the article. In my opinion, losing our first two games, against easily the strongest two sides in the premier league at the moment, will work in our favour... Why? Momentum. Now that we have got those two games out of the way, there are no games we cannot realistically win, until we play United and City again. Confidence should be high after three wins on the trot, therefore we can build some real momentum which will see us climb the ladder into (hopefully) the top 4.

If we hadn't have played both Manchester sides as our first two games, those two games could have acted as speed humps preventing us from building up any confidence, given that the results in those games would almost certainly go against us. Thankfully they are out of the way and we now have a golden opportunity to pull away from our competition for fourth place, and perhaps even mount a serious challenge for third.

What better way to build momentum than an emphatic win this sunday against you know who... COYS

Why DeJongs had to make an introduction when the username is plain to see measures his or her cretinous status. Take my word for it City will run out of steam before long.

Nope, not even close. Good try though
I don't know if any of you recall the Spur from Oz?

I actually meant that quite literally, I was called the Spur from Oz, however I only posted once or twice... And I think I changed my name to Van der Bale for a while.

welcome aboard sir.

gr8 first post, and very good points made.

i'll hold me hands up and say that i was gutted by the first 2 results...

the man u game 'cos we'd more than held our own for 60mins,then done the usual concede and colapse..

and the city game, not so much 'cos we lost, just the dicking we got.....

but i didn't think the whole season was gonna be doom and gloom.....

Welcome!

I think the whole Rat Boy debacle had a lot to do with our start, plus our usual "leave it to the last minute" Levy transfer dealings.

I think we are lucky that Parker and ADE have hit the ground running otherwise we could have quite easily got stuck in a rut.

However things are looking up. If we bit the filth at the weekend I will truly start believing

I'm partly glad we left it late, otherwise Parker & Ade could have got their feet under the table a little bit too soon. By introducing them 2 games in, i think its helped them & the team.

Aristotelian, G'day.

(Thats the closest i could get to an Ozzy hat i'm afraid ).
