So with the season likely to come back (at some point, in some form, whatever), I think the break we've had mid season is unprecedented.
Injured players will likely be back, players on their last legs have had a break and rest, it's just not the same as if the season had continued uninterrupted.
Because of this, if the season does come back and Liverpool are crowned champions, I feel like the nation should just call them Corona Cup champions, and not REALLY league champions. They can have it on paper but any mention going forward needs to have an * explaining that one doesn't *really* count.
Anyone else agree? I know its tough to take, but fair's fair. x

Corona cup is such a terrible name OP, no one wants to be reminded about it all the time in future. You have the basics of a brilliant idea here, perhaps just improve on the name.

The only fair thing about this season is that Liverpool are crowed champions. Everything else is too close to call. Except maybe Norwich, don't think they could could win enough points even if no one ahead of them got any more points.

You can't really award the actual Premier League trophy with a quarter of the season remaining.

You can't really award the actual Champions League and Europa league places to teams that haven't qualified with a quarter of the season remaining.
