I would suggest seven nominations, three inclusions for team of the season, more than any other midfielder apart from Xavi and Iniesta as well as third in the Balon D'or, suggests otherwise.

Yeah bit if Gerrard had played for Barca or Madrid with all that class next to him then he'd be the GOAT.

Trying to find Jovanovic and Voronin with a 60 yard pass is not the same as finding Messi, Dinho or Eto'o.

Look what happened when Torres came to Liverpool? Imagine Gerrard at these teams.

Why do people pick Pique and Ramos over Puyol? For me, Puyol is better than them two put together. A proper no nonsense centre back, great hair and hard as nails. Plus he was a good footballer. I think the defence pick is strange and as if anyone would have Ramos over Dani Alves at right back. Bizarre.
