Clichy

After Evra & Cole, I would rate Clichy as the next best.

Baines if you remember got skinned several times by Pablo Barrera in the England v Mexico friendly (last year , I think) and this winger was nothing to write home about!


Enrique - have you seen him? He uses his right foot just to stand on!

Clichy is by far the better of the 3.

£5m represents an absolute bargain.

Agreed, a bargain for what I think is the best left back behind Cole the rifleman and Evra.

Although Abidal might have a thing or two to say about that. Plus he would be cheaper than Enrique.

Wenger can turn average players into good players with the way Arsenal play. Look at most Arsenal players when they leave or play for their national teams. Clichy was selected few times for France and he was awful. Also, most of ex Arsenal players flop when they left such as Henry, Hleb, Edo, Traore, Kolo Toure, Adebayor, Petit, Pennant, Bentley, Pires, Viera and Kanu who all were sold for big money but failed miserably. They were all world class players but when sold looked completely different players. So my point is only Fabregas and Van Persie are the only good players playing for Arsenal even though Fabregas is way overpriced by Arsenal.
