CONFIRMED: Six positive tests from three Premier League clubs after first phase of 748 tests. PL not identifying individuals for data protection reasons so unclear whether players, non-playing staff or combination of both.
Statement is below:

So that’s three PL clubs that will have to self isolate their players and the staff for a minimum of 7 days.
Although six is quite a low figure, I still can’t see how the PL will be allowed to go ahead in less than a month. What do we reckon lads?
Six players tested positive

I don’t think that’s the case, to be fair. I think it’s only the ones that test positive that have to self isolate.

It’s pretty clear in the OP that all players and staff will have to isolate for 7 days which isn’t the case.

No I didn’t, I pointed out players/staff in close vicinity of the infected would have to self isolate. That’s why I raised the topic in the first page of the thread.

everyone gets tested twice a week. so if someone new gets a positive test then they isolate and everyone they have had contact with isolates until they are retested and they can resume again. The infected person isolates for 7 days and then has to get two negative tests before coming back into circulation.

I reckon that these lads were asymptomatic.
Some studies have suggested that between 25-35% of the nation have already had it.

Wishful thinking.
NYC has done some testing and it appears to be around 15%
