Which area of the team do you think requires the addition of new signings?
I would say a target man is required, a winger that can actually cross the ball. Creative midfielder x2. Two centre-halves and both full-backs need competition with proper players not filly in ones.
O'Donnell is leaving Killie, who we were linked with, but wants to go down south. The boy Williamson with Partick, formerly of Dunfermline has always impressed me.
Could we be in for Nisbet? Is he a target man? Certainly him and Shankland would be good together. Might be good on paper but for them to be at their best we need a winger that can cross the ball and find a tangerine shirt. For the winger to be fed we need a playmaker as Harkes and Powers offer nothing but defensive duties and mostly fall out of the games.
Rumours of targets, post them on here, to see what or hope Neilson is looking to strengthen.

I think we need quite a lot to be honest.
We definitely need wide players as we only have McMullan and we're desperate for more pace in our team.
Nisbet we should definitely go for as Shankland's replacement.
I'd also want an improvement at CB and to be honest I'd probably want two new CBs into the club, both with a view to being starters.
We need something else in CM too, ideally someone with creativity to sit alongside Butcher. I'm not convinced either American will be the long term solution alongside Butch.
Other than that we're fine

Getting rid of Shankland would be a start. He isn't going to get any chances at a team fighting relegation. Maybe a bigger and better all round striker would be better. Derek Townsley maybe.

Dunno if they have any decent players but Caley will probably be bust within the year.. I'd imagine they'll be looking to pint players (as they always do) in the summer for cheap cheap

No new signings but a number of players have agreed to contract extensions. Mehmet IMO is the better goalie of the two, Benji for the size of him flaps at anything coming high in the box.
Harkes I don't think has improved as much as I'd hoped but then Neilson is anti-football so get rid of him and we might see a big improvement.
Freeman was a highly rated prospect so much so he left a few years ago to sign for Southampton. Injuries kind of ended his time with them but quality like that should come back if he gets enough game time.
No links to wingers, creative midfielders, centre-halves or a targetman. Neilson surely can't be going with defensive midfielders and the same centre-halves.......
Read an article the other day about Jim McLean and his tactics. Neilson would be wise to read that and study them as his tactics are eye-bleedingly awful and anti-football, they send you to sleep if you are at the game. If on the TV you are lucky that you can change the channel it's that bad IMO.

Could we be going to America this time to pick up a Serbian, Aleksandar Katai?

If Martin Boyle becomes a free agent I would make him a signing target. Has pace to burn and can cross a ball. Pawlett doesn't have pace and McMullan for being a Tim he struggles with crosses.
Scott Allan could create alongside Butcher the enforcer. However he'll want too much money so that ain't happening.
