Curtis Jones

There's been the usual rumours regarding signings and we all know we didn't spend a bean last year. With the Rona Virus wreaking havoc on the world, it may also affect this summer's signings. So with that in mind, and being another year older, will Curtis Jones have a break out year next season?

Personally I thought he was great in our cup games and scored an absolute screamer against the blues which probably upset the blue sheite no end. So I believe he should get more games next year and I feel he will be ready for the step up. Thoughts?

While Werner seems to dog the headlines, I think that the club have got some magnificent young talent coming through, and that they should and will be given a chance to shine. Curtis is special, no question, but so is Rhian, Harry, Harvey, and Ben to mention a few.

The press seem to be concentrating on both W and the Wolves ex-Barca player who is built like a tank and is also very quick indeed down the wing. But you wouldn’t get much change out of £100M for the pair of them, despite Michael Edwards’ talent as an exceptional negotiator for the club.

These two, and no more, lets rely on the youth and see where it takes us.

Ben Woodburn ain't gonna make it
Harry Wilson time is running out
Brewster is 50/50
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Brewster is 65/35, but I agree with the rest. Only cause I'm a massive Brewster fan and I think Klopp is also a fan of his. 👍🏻

Would like to see him get some game timein the last few games this season too.

Defo, I think he's boss and I reckon out of all the academy lads, he's the one to make it in my opinion.

Do we think then that a midfield spot is not necessary this window? Or do we still need another because Keita is potentially unreliable?

“Potentially”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It still remains to be seen, but yeah, potentially. Not so sure why you find that controversial.

Problem with Brewster is that he does not look like a Klopp system player. His game is about playing number 9 on the shoulder of the CB. A very good potential poacher but you need more than that to get in a Klopp forward line.

You could be right Kash. I'd like to believe he's young enough to open up his game so he can learn to adapt his position and play. Or maybe Klopp sees it as playing a different way to keep the opposition guessing.

Brewster has lost a huge amount of development time, he's well behind where he should be he is 20 now and miles off a first team. Someone like rashford is 22 and that's the difference in getting chances and being fit and using them.

Brewster had a good underage tournament. He's now, after his little time in the championship, got to push no big time next season.

He shouldn't even think about Liverpool, he needs a loan and play a full season and score goals.

Brewster & Jones are in the same boat for me. It could go eitherway. MITO is right, Brewster needs to focus on getting a full season under his belt and scoring goals.

Jones, there's obviously flashes of brilliance but he doesn't probe the opposition in the way Elliott does. With Elliott you can see there's undeniable talent but even he might not make it.

Both of them MUST get Lallana's & Shaqiri's place in the squad next season or they will end up in the same boat as Brewster...lack of development for their age.

Jones on comfortably ahead of Brewster while Elliot is just 17 with plenty of room to develop.

Jones has impressed me a lot. He has always stood out when Klopp plays the kids/reserves. Think he will develop as a Madison/Grealish type of player.
