So I’m not really sure why it’s relevant, is all.

It’s the biggest thing you’d point to when disagreeing on opinions about Henderson so of course they are relevant.

This of us who watch him play week in week out see the type of player he is as well.

But I could say the same every time we disagree about a United player, couldn’t I?

I’ve always accepted that ultimately, people who watch a player week in, week out will have a better understanding of their abilities.

Although that then doesn’t take into account ability to read the game, bias etc.

All we can do is give our opinion and try to back it up, I suppose. Football would be boring without them.

The opinion of a few rival fans flies in the face of what the majority are saying though. You could stick a pin in most articles, pundits opinion, opinions of his peers, as well as fans that watch him every week and the manager and the vast majority are saying he’s a great player.

Far from the average workhorse type that’s being described by some.

Yeh, I can sort of see that.

But the media can be quite fickle and pundits generally just go along with the fashionable opinion.

Anecdotally id say in my experience, most rival fans feel the same way about him.

I’d love to sit in a pub with Keane, Vieira, Ferguson, Wenger, Pep etc. and have a good chat to see what their views are but that may involve some specific dreaming.
