Bit of a random one but if anyone enjoys retro gaming I recommend buying the Pocket Go.
It's a small handheld emulator that is on Amazon UK for just short of £40.
It has emulators built in for the following consoles , and heldhelds.
NES,Master System,Mega Drive, SNES,Turbo Graphics 16 ,GameBoy, GameBoy colour,GameBoy Advance ,Atari 2600,Atari Lynx,PS1,NeoGe ,Arcade, as well as swan.
I got mine about a week ago and have downloaded approximately 800 roms free of charge and adds them onto the system, this machine will play Japanese ports also so any games you ever wanted to play years ago will run.
The screen is a little small bit there is an option to attach an AV out cable if you have the means , it's not provided.
Picture quality is good for the size but the speakers are a bit meh but easily better if headphones are attached.
All in all for £36 , it's a bargain and a recommended from me.

Sounds good, but I often think with these things that I'd just end up being paralyzed by choice.
I've got a few of the mini consoles, and even with 20-30 games (or 42 in the case of the Mega Drive), it's often hard to pick one to actually play
Plus, for me, when it comes to nostalgia, it's all about the ZX Spectrum, then the ST and Amiga...

Ah , 4 player Gauntlet on the Commodore 64. 2 with joysticks 2 sharing the keyboard, those were the days.

I remember borrowing Gauntlet off a friend, for Spectrum. Played it so much over the weekend my hand was hurting by Monday. Great game

Is it correct that you can download any games you want on NES and SNES if you pay the monthly fee ? If so how much is it?

Sort of.
You download the packs of games they have available as a perk for paying the switch online fee.
List of games here and they add more frequently

But best handheld emulation machine is either the PSP or PS Vita. Was on the verge of selling my Vita until I hacked it, now has a new lease of life for me

I still play on my Vita every now and again. Most of what I play on there is emulated PS1 games or other old games. The two Capcom collections are really good - I think they were released on PS2.
