With the biggest financial crash this country has ever seen about to engulf it, with millions likely to lose their jobs, it didn't take long for the chequebook clubs to start throwing their wonga about.

Football astonishes me sometimes, and the public won't take kindly to clubs that start all the spend, spend, spend makary, whilst so many of the population have and will be suffering over the coming months.
