TLOU2, take a bow.

The review embargo is over, and the reviews are out. I have not looked at any of the reviews, as I don't want anything to spoil it for me. So not posting anything.

but quickly scanning the scores, looks like Naughty Dog have done it again. top scores across the board.

Its available on ps4, right? Won't be getting the ps5 for a while, if at all.

Well the game is out next week, and the PS5 isn't out till the end of the year. So it better run on PS4

Seriously though it is a PS4 game, which is surprising with how good it looks.

Now that TLOU2 is complete let’s hope Naughty Dog will begin working on Uncharted 5.

Drake’s wife and kid leave him. Sully comes by to cheer him up with a few drinks and then shows him a map of where some treasure is hidden. They decide to go find it. Little do they know Rafe’s older brother is looking for the same treasure. He also wants revenge for his brother’s death.

I like it , Rafe was well a priiiiick, I really enjoyed killing him.

The original I didn’t like after I played the first level, stopped playing for ages. One day picked it up again, played a bit further, realised how good it was..

Great game, indications that this is just as good..

Weirdly I did the exact same wonder what it was? Reinstalled it at the weekend after nearly 4 years and am making steady progress. Initially wasn't that into it and I don't think it's the be all and end all that so many others seem to but writing it off after the first level was probably a mistake. I am coming to the party very late though.

So far I definitely prefer the outside areas and visually it looks great. The indoor parts are fine for the most part but nothing more than that so far. I've played too many games that do the exact same thing with the throw a bottle to distract a guard/monster/zombie mechanic for it to feel fresh.

Definitely prefer it to the Uncharted games, they never clicked with me although am tempted to try the 4th that was on PS Plus a few months back. Maybe Naughty Dog and myself aren't meant to be.

tbf you are playing 5 years or so after its release lol. At the time it was gamebreaking and imo is the most engrossing storytelling of a game with action that i've ever played.

I think the fact it still holds it's own graphically, is testament to how impressive this game was back then, The voice acting, music, script etc were all top notch.

Whatever people might make of the gameplay, there is no denying the quality of this game. and what I have seen of TLOU2, it is a game that would not look out of place on a PS5, to think it is running on a PS4 is frankly mindblowing.
