season to be null and voided. It still does not sit comfortable with me that so many are still dying, yet football is being allowed to continue with seemingly different rules that the rest of us have to abide. But hey ho that ship has sailed now, and football has returned for better or worse.
Even though rules seem to have changed from the earlier part of the season. No real home advantage with games being played behind closed doors, five subs, drinks breaks, etc, etc. I suppose it will be the same for all, so we will just have to live with it, but put an asterisk beside the season for future reference when assessing it as a whole.
However from a Spurs point of view I am expecting a really strong end to the season, nine games to play five at home, four away. With all the best players back, I would be expect at a minimum seven wins, possibly more, and hopefully Kane and co will hit the ground running tomorrow with a win over United. I predict a 2-0 win, making it a home double over Manchester for the season.
Nothing really to fear now going into the last nine games, this is how I reckon they will pan out
Man United 2-0
West Ham 3-0
Sheffield United 1-0
Everton 3-1
Bournemouth 2-0
Arsenal 3-1
Newcastle 1-1
Leicester 2-1
Crystal Palace 1-0
Oh that`s eight wins and a draw. Who knows that may be enough for a top four spot. And if the ban on City is upheld, as it should be, then 5th will be more than enough for CL next season.
Beat the teams in and around them,, then CL should be well within Spurs reach. They have the players, just need to apply themselves. No slow starts, no silly mistakes, proper defending of corners, 100 per cent commitment needed. What could be simpler?

As much as I would have prefered this

Winks and Dier CM
Sissoko and Aurier both RW

To think that half the team could be made up of Aurier, Sissoko, Winks, Dier, Davies and NDombele makes me shudder

I don’t think spurs will win more than three. In fact I’m betting against them on every game. Bet I make money at the end of the season. Spurs are awful right now. Thoroughly rotten from the top to the bottom.

Spurs had all their best players missing last three months before shutdown. Prior to that I think they were 2nd in the Prem form table behind Liverpool, since Jose arrived.
I am very, very optimistic now going forward, provided the injury curse does not hit again. Two or three of our new players should have settled in. Everything looking rosy going forward.
I am astonished at how many Spurs supporters are not getting behind the team, now they have a fully fit squad (almost) for the first time in years.

And I am astonished at your continued support for the failure that is Daniel levy and the awful football he has brought this year. Especially as this time last year we were runners up in the champions league.

8 wins and 1 draw? Don't be so negative Sandy, you know full well it's going to be 9 wins.

You can all come back to me to apologise tomorrow night when most of you say Spurs will lose, and I am going 2-0 win minimum. There cannot be fairer than that.

Will you apologise when we lose?? Or will you go all silent...

whats it matter if theres an asterisk? you think this will damage Liverpools reputation on the title win? people who research it will see we were 25 points clear with 9 games left before CV called it to a stop.
So by all means crack on if it makes you feel better about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They will also realize that this was the first season of VAR, and the reason why Liverpool are 25 points clear.
There is no surprise Pool are so many points clear after their first season of playing with 13 men rather than 12.

I mean still 6 points needed to win it but yeah CV and all these asterisks you want will only highlight how far ahead and comfortable we have been winning it with VAR making it the most legit season in history to date. So its flattering to care so much for it Sandy m8
----------------------------------------------------------------------
VAR has been used and abused to make sure their favourite clubs are given the benefit of doubt, when you see Pool players making leg breaking tackles and staying on the pitch etc etc, you know something is quite corrupt.
This has been anything but a legit season for a whole multitude of reasons, and VAR is all the proof we need that certain clubs are treated differently to others.

i don't see any reason spurs can't win most of their remaining games, but only 4 goals against?
come on sandy your defense just isn't that good.

If you watched or listened to the news channels yesterday you would think that the whole country is gagging for footballs return. Of course the pundits would say that as they have a vested interest.
My findings are very different. Most people I know would rather have it back properly or not at all and think settling major issues with home advantage all but gone is ridiculous.
Theres also alot of disgust out there at how easy it is for Sky to hold the clubs to ransom and make them play under these circumstances. Then they try and claim they've given the whole country a morale boost.
That Villa v Sheff game was as morale boosting as having your bollox cut off with a blunt rusty knife.

Couldve had a million at the stadium, Villa Vs Sheff was always gonna be a pants game

Last year we were also dire in every competition under Pochettino, bar the very lucky run to the final. Levy made the right call and sacked the manager who had Spurs plummeting down the league.
