Who Should Replace Mourinho?

I would like somebody who is young, innovative and progressive with lots of energy. We're not going to pinch any Managers from the elite clubs of Europe so we have to be realistic.

I think these are as good as it gets:

Erik Ten Hag
Simone Inzaghi
Julienn Nagelsmann

Any more?

Simeone must be getting bored of not being able to move Atletico any further forward than he has done?

No thanks Simone brand of football is worse than Jose’s. Literally the Argentina's version of Pulis. Only difference is the standard of player at their disposal. Just have a look at the strikers Simone has had and how their goal ratios. Diabolical.

I had to have to see what’s Simone gets up to on the sidelines.

I know we all have different views on Jose and I’m very much in the don’t want him camp but he has to be given a full season imo

Every player works his socks for him and his teams are organised and well drilled. He even managed to break the Barca/Madrid cartel even though it was 6 years ago.

Let me guess you would rather we play the myth of champagne football? Z z z. Oh yeah we have had loads of glory with that recently.

Certainly not serious about sacking Jose yet but the early signs of direction are not good. Let's see where we go next season and if we can do some needed business

Luka let me set you straight on a few things.

1. I have my own eyes that enable me to watch football. I don’t jump on bandwagons. By this I mean, Redknapp, I wasn’t a fan of personally, abit like Jose - however I recognise under Harry we played free flowing expansive football. Yes I witnessed it with my own eyes.

2. I watch football to be entertained. See point 1.

3. “We must always consider our supporters, for without them there would be no professional football. It would be better to have more fans watching football the way they like it played, rather than have a few fans watching football the way we would like it played.” Bill Nic

4. AVB has the highest points tally in the PL era for us, didn’t stop me bemoaning the sideways passing as many of us did.

5. Simone has spent an absolute fortune at Atheltico, yes they have sold well. But like I say look at the forwards goal ratios. Their forwards have 22 goals between them this season. Someone’s style handicaps them. As Jose’s will do with Kane - ultimately meaning Kane will have all the more reason to leave, as personal accolades will dry up!

Simeone is what Mourinho was 10 years ago. An unpleasant, pugnacious defensive coach who guarantees a high chance of relative success. Spurs would have been better off appointing Simeone to replace Pochettino, but obviously that would've meant buying out his contract at Atleti whereas Mourinho was free. And it wouldn't have been pretty to watch, but I'm sure he'd have improved players like Sanchez and Dier while continuing to get a tune out of Alderweireld and Vertonghen (he managed with Godin for years and he had no pace either).

I'd rather have seen Tuchel or Nagelsmann, but we are where we are.
