This time Kovacic is the unfortunate victim of said injury.
Achilles injury rules him out of the next couple of matches, confirmed by Frank: https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2020/07/03/frank-lampard-press-conference-ahead-of-watford
Got to tread very carefully with injuries (especially when it pertains to muscle), during this congested run-in. Taxing schedule.
Having every (useful) squad member fit and available for rotation is absolutely imperative.

Muscle injuries can be an absolute ball ache, it's just taken me 14 weeks to get over quad muscle injury.
Admittedly I don't have access to first class physios and equipment.

Loftus & Hudson-Odoi weren't being kind to Reece & Maatsen at all. Overwhelmed.
