He’s ok going forward but I have not been impressed with Tierney defending against anyone half decent. He is young and hopefully will improve but we can’t carry any passengers. AMN who us not a defender was so much better.

What lol his comment is true. Tierney definitely has not convinced yet and AMN coming on is what got us back control of the game

Motm against sheff Utd , one of the better performers against Norwich, was decent today. Traore ripped Robertson apart , is he suddenly not one of the best lbs in the world?!. Swear we got the most reactionary fans there are.

Wouldn’t even say he got ripped apart, a couple of moments in the 2nd half he could have done better.

That's harsh on Tierney. He has pace which AMN does not have. But AMN was brought on specifically to man-mark and contain the bulky Adama Traore who was bulldozing his way past Tierney, and admittedly did a better job overall. Still, when AMN overlapped he lost Adama a few times in dangerous areas and didn't have adequate cover on that wing behind him, leaving Traore with huge acres of space.

I don’t know a lb in the PL that has coped comfortably against traore for 90 mins.

Sadly certain "fans" can't see any positives

are you kidding? AMN is probably our quickest player, or joint with Bellerin depending on how much pace he's lost
