This may seem controversial, but it seems as though we won't have much of a budget (nothing new there!) this transfer window, and I think we will need to sell to buy Adama Traore. I suspect they will go for a similar amount. I don't see Alli getting any better, he has a poor work rate, and his attitude seems a bit off and distracted at times.
Thoughts?
Sell Dele Alli buy Adama Traore

Stats are stats but if you are a scout and you have seen Dele play over the last year it laughable to say he is worth £70m. Unless you are one of our scouts and decided to folk out that much on Tanguy LOL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The player still has 10 years left of his career. Has shown he can be world class. Yet you judge him a year of poor form, forgetting his ability and talent.
Would easily reach £70m+ in the market. You lot are fickle as fack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's semantics, but Alli has never been close to being world class. God I loathe that expression. Tory MP's have now appropriated it (Cummings no doubt). Is he the best in the world in his position? He's nowhere flecking near it and never was.
Deli Alli, World class. Have a lie down mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please do not compare me to the tories
OK, il concede and agree with you around the term world class. But I do stand by the fact he is an extremely talented player who, if he regains his form, could be one of the best players in his position.

Haha Im quite serious though. To me, skill set wise he's a 10 all day long. I dont think he's good enough off the ball or protects it well enough for 8, wide he's mince and doesnt have enpugh in his game to play up top. How many teams play with a 10 now?

People want to sell Alli because he’s not been good enough for Tottenham, but think big clubs are gonna spend big money on him to improve their already better teams? Something doesn’t add up.

Alli was great when he had Dembele behind him basically winning the back back and ensuring we retained possession.
Now we don’t control the midfield so he’s pretty ineffective when we haven’t got the ball.
I still maintain that he is one of a very few number of players who has that ability to make late runs. If we can sort our midfield he can be a top player for us again. Also he’s better when Kane is on form so Kane being away with injury probably affected him a lot

People need to remember Dele has had bad luck with injuries, niggles and that hamstring, this has disrupted his game, he has been unable to gain any form or momentum in his game. He has proved he has the talent, it will return, he just needs a injury free run and to be used correctly.

We need to revamp the entire squad, and buy young players where needed.
Not some old broken down hack like Traore.
Here's what we need.(alternates Name1/name2)............
Lloris /Jianluigi Donnarumma
L Klostermann, M de Ligt, Upamecano, Tanganga
N’Dombele, Sissoko/ Kai Havertz
Erling Braut Haland, Lo Celso, Son
Kane
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Broken down old hack?! I don't think you know who Traore is Ted... He's 24 years old and one of the quickest and strongest players on the planet.
As for your suggestions, I don't think a single one of them would want to move to Spurs. De Ligt, Donnarumma, Havertz and HaalandThose four could have their pick of any club on the planet. Spurs are competing in a different league nowadays thanks to Levy and Mourinho.
I also doubt Leipzig would sell both Klostermann and Upamecano to the same side, but you never know. Those are the only two Spurs would have even the slightest hope of signing, and even then probably only if Spurs got Nagelsmann first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately...you're right!
I was just dreaming
I know it ain't going to happen ...
but wouldn't you just like to see that lot in Spurs shirts?

Screamed to high heaven we should have signed Traore before Villa got him over 5 years ago for 7mill. There are gems out there but our scouting just doesn't cut it. Traore has bigger fish to fry am sure and will be looking at established CL clubs.
Dele is not good enough and and will not get better. Would snap anyone hands off for 30-35mill but doubt other clubs are that stupid. We are stuck with him.
