Who should we be offloading and how much can we get for them?
Mata - 10m?
Lingard - 15m?
Jones - 10m?
Rojo - 5m?
One of Smalling or Bailly - 20m?
Sanchez (sorry forgot about him) - I guess free just to get him off the wage bill!
Controversial this but I’d actually keep Andreas as a squad player. I don’t think he minds being a sub and playing cup games etc and you need a big squad to compete on all fronts. Can’t just go selling everybody.

Shows the dumb logic of this club’s board sometimes.
We bought Lukaku off them in recent seasons. We bought elbows off them post SAF. We sold them Schneiderlin a few seasons back.
We’ve dealt with Everton a few times, so Rojo touted for Everton shouldn’t have been an issue for anyone. It’s not as if Rojo was quality.

yup, it's a decision that has woodward's incompetent fingerprints all over it - ditto jones being given a new 5 year contract c. 3 months after ole took over as caretaker, and before he had been given the permanent job.
pity woodward couldn't remember the last few times we had "strengthened" everton, with schneiderlin, gibson, and phil neville.

Sanchez is not leaving with those wages. It will be the same as this season. He goes out on loan and the club pay him 80k while United continue to pay the remaining 420k.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’ll probably be a Rooney-type deal where he leaves on a permanent basis but we keep paying part of his wages for the term of the cancelled contract.

Ah the classic ‘Utd are mugs’ deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The classic ‘Ed facked us again, didn’t he?’ deal.
Fair play to Wazza, the lad actually had three clubs paying him at one point

Jesus I missed that! Wow

Lingard has to go, He's had too many chances and took them, Pereira needs to leave as well.

Gibson and Neville was before Woodward’s tenure. So he couldn’t influence that. But yes, Still poor strategy from Ed.
Sorry for late reply, at work.

Arggghh! I was reminded again of how and why we got rid of Daley Blind and kept Jones and Rojo. It's facking maddening, and I do believe that Blind would play often for Ole and would be successful here.It still has me butthurt.
