I've found the whole experience quite Meh! It just serves to underline in capitals using red print with a pair of fingers pointing at us not being able to watch our team/live football.
Having canned crown noise is the crowning turrd on the cake. It makes MoTD even worse than normal, I just find it a constant irritation. It is also so blatantly obvious why they default to it - not because it 'sounds more like a match' but they do not have to frequently apologise for the bad language which they otherwise manage to drown out.
