We lost a few years worth of academy players through mis management.

When Onomah & KWP won under 20 World Cup & Edwards won 19 euros they all should be sent out on loan straight away.

All huge talents at the time and needed game time.

We do have a fair few coming through again in the next few years. Let’s hope we develop them better

Was poch's refusal to loan them the issue? Never quite understood that stance.

Hard to say as it depends on development but these are my favourites to do so

Etete - ST - outside chance due to height and strength.

I believe so.

I like the bring them up to train with first team but not more than a season.

After that players can’t lose years and years of not playing as they need to learn the rough and tumble as well learning to interact outside of the bubble of youth and training.

doesnt fill me with hope that Jose has said that the best way for them to develop is being thrown in at the deep end, either.

Why not? Worked ok with Tanganga against Liverpool. Ok we lost the game but Tanganga played well and showed some bottle against Mane.

Poch and Jose recently have both said they would learn more by training with top international players. Guessing they believe championship teams are less professional and they could pick up bad habit perhaps?

On the other hand someone like Jack Roles who has been loaned out, has really filled out and has been a success at Cambridge.

have long said that for a club so tight when it comes to transfers, the mismanagement of the loan system during Poch's reign was ridiculous. We stalled the careers of loads of players, and could have brought in players on loan to help us. Absolutely baffling considering that our current talisman was a product of a number of loans until he was finally ready for spurs.

just another thing in the very long list of nonsense things at spurs
