Defensive midfield players

With the news that Gilmour is injured - that’s 3 defensive midfield players out. Our injuries always seem to arrive at the same time as other injured players in the same position. Weird. Now Lampard will have to play Jorginho.

Kovacic has returned to full-training, so may opt to start him as the deepest midfielder.

Jorginho should either start against Sheffield United or Norwich. I would choose the latter.

Pleased to hear that Kovacic is back in training at least. It gives Lampard an option - especially with games coming thick and fast.

The Jorg situation is wierd...but he was top drawer for 15 minutes last game when Billy went off

As good a sub appearance as i've seen in fact bar scoring a winner
