Jack Charlton - Dragged us from the depths of the Third Division in the late 70's to the brink of the First Division and an FA Cup Semi Final. Left of his own accord despite being begged to stay - one of the few Wednesday managers not be to sacked.
Never to be forgotten by all at Sheffield Wednesday
RIP Big Jack

Dirty Lids, though.
But still, RIP Big Jack!
Shame he and Bobby fell out over their women.

That's brilliant, that goal by Whelan against ussr is still my favourite goal ever.

Watching spectacular goals like that are part of what make the big tournaments special
Cant think of a better one that Ireland have scored even though he said he shinned it

RIP Jack.
Rem him playing for Leeds and cheered many Irish hearts up too.
Will raise a Guinness to him later.🍻

Big Jack was a legendary TV commentator, when he worked with Brian Moore on ITV. Always refused to pronounce Johan Cruyff's name properly and referred to him as 'That John Cruf'.
