This guy is a liability as part of a back three or four. I kept my eyes on him in the wolves game and he was so abject at playing the ball forward, he flunked 2 yard passes when he tried. The errant pass to Luiz that gifted Spurs their equalizer did not come as a surprise.
It begs the question why Tierney can’t be played in the back three with Saka in a wing back role.
Our clear out this summer should start with defenders; Kola should be on that list.

He’s playing cause Mari is injured and Tierney is a lot more effective getting forward. Saka also doing well on the wing not gna change that. We just have to ride these games out. I agree with you that Kola is not good enough.

We can still loan him out and pay a portion of his wages and get another defender in with twice his ability for half the salary

Yeah or just bloody bang it long down the wing if there was nothing on and was under pressure. That’s even what you get taught at school! This is problem with most of our defence, you can coach them onto a great shape or whatever, but at any moment there’s about 3 players on the pitch who will do something totally dumb
