Not the match, the interview afterwards. Arteta standing there saying he doesn't know if he's going to get much money to improve the sqaud this window, does not bode well.
If he doesn't know that by now, then either he was dumb enough to take this job without guarantees of money to spend in this window beforehand. Or the Kroenkes have just u-turned after making promisises before he signed. Got a ready made outbreak excuse haven't they. I'll pick the second option as the likely one here. But either way, he ain't getting any money so we've got problems next season.

They have just sent out an email asking fans to renew memberships for next season. Think fans should really think wisely before renewing if it’s the case of us not spending. Paying champions league prices for more mediocrity. This squad needs mass investment.

Wouldn’t think too negatively of this. It’s obvious how much improvement is needed and we’ve spent some big money last year. The new board for football matters seems better.

What worries me is that he didn't look like someone whom was [playing it cool. He looked like he genuinely never knew and wanted to provoke some fuss by blatantly letting us know that he doesn't.

He's just putting pressure on the ownership. It's very hard to know what's going on. Arteta seems to have a policy of speaking honestly in public.

Don't renew a damn thing until you we quality players brought in. And write and telll the club that's what you're doing.
"Dear Stan
Feck of with ya renewal until you BUY SOME TOP QUALITY PLAYERS!
FFP has been lifted temporarily now. So you want us all to dig into our pockets and renew our memberships. Then get digging into yours and feckin well spend some real money on this team, FIRST!
Your sincerely

Glad he's publicly challenging them though. Very refreshing.

Do you not think that this is a tactical ploy??
Kroenke has just come out and said Arsenal will get bankrolled this transfer window...
Wouldn't that make every club raise their prices whenever Arsenal came about...?

Thought it was funnyAF myself. Despite my rants I do actually want Arteta to succeed. Felt gutted for him as a player, never getting to play CAM at Arsenal. Wenger forcing him to play DM tarnished his playing career when moving to AFC should have enhanced it. So I really don't want him getting it wrong for himself as the manager.
That interview reinforced that feeling. If he's gonna do em like that then next season's post match will bring chuckles at times. Even more reason to want him not to get himself sacked with foolish decisions. He sticks around and I get good results AND jokes too

Main problem is that the owners are business people with no real football roots.
They are probably looking at all the money Arsenal has spent in recent years and the results gained?
