Preseason

To be fair the players have all had 2-3 months off so this season should be an enigma, in that they don't really need lots of time off.

Maybe a week away as lots live far away and couldn't fly home during the covid situation, and then had to complete the current season.

There will be staff at the club who have degrees and phds in this sort of thing so I'd let them guide the decision. Can't imagine anyone on this board is qualified to say what is the best preparation for the new season.

True but you can offer your unqualified opinion on a discussion board, but if you like you can do a 4 year course and come back to me with your opinion



Do you not have an opinion on current state of the team, and where we need to be in September but also in dec and january.

for example city may actually learn how to defend and end up beating real and going all the way in the CL. )I know, unlikely they'll learn how to defend but still.)

This would see them play through june, july, august and then get 2 or 3 weeks max to prepare for next season.

Would this not mean they could potentially blow up in December under the calender of games?

Would you take potential future lock downs into consideration? and go hard for the kick off and then just see what happened based on 9 weeks off earlier this year?

the one thing I would not allows as a club wuld be to let guys travel just anywhere on hols. the disaster that 3 players going to brazil for example could be might blow the whole season.
