Never being this nervous

Since 2012 UCL finals. Is not like we are playing against Liverpool or Bayern Munich today but the thought of Kepa and our defenders against Adama Traore gives me little confidence.

I can only be fine tomorrow if after 20minutes, Manutd lead by 3-0.

I hope the players give their all and get the job done but above all, I am still nervous.

I'm chill. Whatever will be will be.

The 02-03 equivalent game was 1000x worse, that was a proper crossroads game in our history, if we missed out on CL this time it's just inconvenient.

That team have leaders, not this one.

Fair point, but the stakes were in another stratosphere of importance. If we wind up 5th this time tomorrow we'll be fine, back then very different story.

I'm about 95% confident of us winning and winning comfortably, the other 5% is worrying about us not taking our chances and them sucker punch us on the counter attack.

Hoping to see the front 3 that came off the bench against Liverpool, start against Wolves.

Tammy has a fine goalscoring record against Wolves.

Hudson-Odoi is our strongest creative outlet...when it comes to passing, playmaking vision, directness, decision-making and end product in attacking third...Willian is not a patch on him, even in his best season to date which he's currently had.
Not many in Europe can match Hudson-Odoi in terms of creating big/clearcut chances.

Pulisic is just the definition of a potent force at the moment.

Those three in conjunction can cause untold problems to Wolves and outweigh any threat Traore and co. can conjure up.

Not as nervous as I was for the final game of the 82/83 season!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn't born around then, what actually happened?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

We were one game away from relegation to the old division three and potential extinction.

We played Bolton away and secured a 1-0 win courtesy of a Clive Walker goal.

That was possibly the most important match of our history!

I want the same as well but I don't mind Giroud starting and bringing Tammy on with 30-45 minutes left. The only player I don't want anywhere near the starting lineup is Willian

Pulisic-Abraham-Mount for me.

343 with Alonso & James so we keep the width (important vs. a back 3) we'd lose without Willian or CHO.

I would be tempted to start CHO purely for shock factor but Pulisic's too hot atm & Mount's too important.

Sorry about my memory but that was the penultimate game of that season.

If Frank is going to revert to back 4 formation I'm not against Mount starting with Hudson-Odoi, Tammy, Pulisic front three.

Mount is an important key player I had him starting the FA Cup final in mind.
Want him at optimal fitness for that one, don't want him to be in a position where he's expanded a lot of energy against Wolves and has very little left for the FA Cup final.
