Tway I don't mean to labour the point but he has one assist all season. Costa was more clinical than Giroud.

They may have not lead to goals this season but his passing to team mates to create goal scoring opportunities was what I was referring to. Over his career has recorded a decent record of assists... any visit to the right website will confirm that. As to Costa comparisons of course Diego was superior but that was not the discussion at hand.

His link up play has been really good throughout his time here. Had Lampard not sidelined him during the first half of the season we would have finished comfortably in the top 4. Good squad option to have at the club.

Why put this on the Arsenal board saying lets hope he gets a medal?

He was never good enough for us and a significant part of why we didnt win the league in 2016. His 3 month bottle job gol drought was a major factor in our missing out. Upgrading from him to PEA as a massive improvement.
