Welcome to Manchester.
Young lad with plenty of potential, a £15m+ donation from whoever buys Jadon Sancho plus the money we got from selling Sane means we still have plenty in the transfer pot.
City, saving football.

The 1 Star arsebandit obviously isn't impressed with this exciting new addition to the PL.

I one starred the article because it's pretty insensitive to be spending millions of pounds on a football player when the City that your team is in is encountering a second wave of covid19.

Arsenal shouldn't be signing anyone while knife crime in London is such a problem.

Huge downgrade on Sane.

If he plays one game next season it will be an improvement on Sane!

Good bit of business as we already have options out there so he can be eased in.

I’m not sure what the link is? The premier league is probably the safest industry in the country right now due to all the testing, and clubs have a right to continue with their business as any others do at this point. Nothing in Manchester is locked down, we’re just only allowed to spend time with people in places where you can contribute to the economy.

Downgrade on Sane.

Smart signing by City. He’s an experienced player for someone so young. Has plenty of CL games under his belt too. Dortmund were reportedly following him to be Sancho’s replacement and they’re very rarely wrong

Sane should be in the mix for Ballon d’ors in a few years such is his talent. As good as he was to watch though he wasn’t pivotal for City, hopefully Torres will have a longer and more impactful career at City.

Sane was tapped up by his mum so it was unfortunate but understandable that he left. Torres will probably play in the cups and be on the bench for a season to assimilate in the prem and Peps methods just as Mahrez was.

Given that Pep rotates the team for pretty much every game I agree that he will probably be a starter mainly in Cup games this season, at least until Christmas, gradually getting into the squad rotation for PL games as the season progresses. Don't forget that City will have a more congested season than most because of their later start (and possibly significantly later start if things go well in the CL) so squad depth will be important.
