In the end it was very comfortable. We got what we expected from a St Mirren side who appeared to have little interest in going for the win.
Morelos looked much sharper and I think he knew himself he hasn't been performing for the last couple of games despite the assist for Kent's goal against Aberdeen.
Looking solid from front to back at the moment and we appear to have an able deputy for Greegs in McLaughlin.
Goldson and Balogun look as though they are already forming a good partnership at the back. Feel a bit sorry for Edmundson as I really rate him - just has to work that bit harder on cutting out some of the wee bits which he gets wrong.
Good to see the amount of shots fired in yesterday - was definitely over 20 and that is something we haven't done in ages.
Onwards and upwards but a good start to the campaign.

As for Rangers, good performance to a man pretty much.
I hope we do keep Morelos but my head says there is no chance.
I think we are well stocked in the squad now but theres a few that still need there future sorted.
Davis needs phased out, will do a job off the bench but i feel him or Arfield should leave so we can give Docherty a sniff after another successful loan but i reckon he will keep them both and sell Docherty.
Murphy hasnt come back from that injury really so we would move him if we could i think, same for Jones and Middleton.
I'd like one more dynamic midfielder and someone attacking from the right.

I think Arfield is pretty schite. Good guy to have about but he's not a starter, he's nearly 32 with no value. Docherty makes more sense to me and i don't see much difference in quality between them.
The manager likely doesnt fancy Docherty though.

I think Arfield is a better player than Docherty and is exactly the type of player we should be keeping around the squad.
By all accounts Arfield is great with the youngsters and is an excellent professional. He will be relatively happy coming in and out the team this year - particularly if we are competing to the latter stages of competitions.
Docherty you just feel will always just lack that wee bit of quality for us. He is young though and is more than capable of playing at a semi decent level.
Offering Docherty in part exchange for Lewis Ferguson might not be a bad idea.....

I can just imagine Ferguson being mentored by Greegs

I like Lewis Ferguson as a player but I really think if he was called Lewis Robertson he'd be much less hyped.
