It seems a bit cringe on the outset but think about it - they’re coming to the end of their first truly successful
era, and it’ll be a truly iconic time/memory for their football club.

The main stand expansion set us back by 114m, so expanding the Anfield Road end for only 53m is not exactly cooking the books as they say.

Anyway, how will these statues be created? Slave labor?
