...to be made out of Silver? They could afford it...
Honestly, a statue? He's not dead. He's very much alive and well.

Too over the top.
What's with clubs retiring shirts of 18 year-olds or making statues of players who have won a moderate amount and played for the club for 10 years?
David Silva statue...

It seems a bit cringe on the outset but think about it - they’re coming to the end of their first truly successful
era, and it’ll be a truly iconic time/memory for their football club.

Yes, we didn't exist before 2008.

Really? We won the FA Cup about 50 years before you managed it.

After spending several years in the contruction industry, I'd say yes.

Okay, sure bud.
The main stand expansion set us back by 114m, so expanding the Anfield Road end for only 53m is not exactly cooking the books as they say.
Anyway, how will these statues be created? Slave labor?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You didn't actually build it though. You claimed the feasibilty study cost £53m which was about the same as the FS for HS2.
Dippers cheating, who'd have thought it.

Didn't build it? The main road stand didn't just magically appear to the size it is now

I'm talking about the new stadium in Stanley Park that cost £53m but was never built. I'm sure your other 'improvements' were entered as seperate amounts.

Bent as fek but quick enough to accuse others.

Seems very odd, what's wrong with a testimonial?

Any club who holds a player in such high regard is welcome to do the same.
Yet again, how many clubs have a player on their books that's won so much in the last decade as well as winning the WC and Euros with his home nation?
