With there being talk of Messi leaving Barcelona, realistically there are probably 2 clubs that could afford him at the moment. Us and City (mostly from a wages perspective).
What would you think about getting him now? And how much do you think he would cost? Im thinking with his age probably 120m? If we're talking about potentially getting Sancho for similar money, would it be beyond the realm of possibility?
Top quality player for 3 years at least, plus think of all the commercial deals and shirt sales he would generate. Would probably pay for himself in the first year.
I know it's super unlikely and wont happen, plus goes against our strategy of recruiting young, hungry players now. But what would you think if it happened?
