Divock Origi

To replace Kiko Casilla in the Pablo Hernandez song. Liverpool are very shrewd in the market, will big him up at 20+ million, not worth more than 5-8 million for me. Also, I’m predicting Bamford to get 10+ goals this season.

I like Origi. He would get plenty of playing time with us and he can play either as a lone striker or in the front line. 15 mil is about right for me, but why have we not seen much of him in a red shirt in the past season?

It’s hard to leave Firmino out because he’s the perfect foil for the 2 players either side of him. Even if Firmino isn’t getting 20 a season he provides so much more than goals!

Is Origi actually that good?

I know he's scored some great and important goals for Liverpool and will be a hero for you for those. But do you see him as someone who could actually lead the line week in week out for a club in the PL and get into double figures?

It's one thing being a super sub and back up striker playing with world class players and another being the main man with a lower standard of footballers.

I think he’d be great as a pairing or on the left of a front 3 at most clubs. I’d worry if he was your only scoring outlet.

But if you played a 433 and origi was on the left i think he’d score 12-15 in the league in a season and chip in with 5 or so assists, and i think that’d be really solid output at premier league level.

And like i said, he scores big goals. He really does seem to relish the bigger occasions.

origi is easily worth 15m but not sure i want him.
bamford is grossly underrated on here and 10 goals doesn't sound outrageous.

I actually see big Diock playing a Bamford role due to his athletism, with better finishing than Bamford.

agree with Mont, Christiano very underrated, but, with a gun to my head I'd prefer big Divock up top... would pay around 20 million for him too

It’s different being Liverpool’s main man and being the main striker for a newly promoted club.

I think he’d easily get 10 - 15 a season!

Orgi is the type of signing, that gets the manager the sack and club to get relegated.

Buying squad players from Liverpool and skum, really work.

He struggled big time in Germany when he was the main man. Something like 5 goals in 30 plus games and a couple of those were in the his last game there. He'll never be an out and out goalscorer but he has enough about his game to cause issues for opposition no matter who they are. If Leeds or anyone were to sign him, they'd need plenty of goals from elsewhere cos he won't get enough to keep a team up.

Sounds a bit like Bamford mk2 from that.

I trust in Bielsa - he will know if Origi would fit in to our team well or not.

Well of course he has to sound a bit like Bamford. Did you think we would be signing a completely different kind of striker? We need someone who plays the same game as Bamford but with better finishing.

Its whether Origi fits that bill that is the issue. I would say that he does. He'd be my third choice out of him, Rodrigo and Batshuayi though.
