Hi, it's been a while since I posted here, I had forgotten my ja login and password to my e-mail address. I've been observing proceedings.
I was curious to see in the BBC Sport Gossip page about talks between Barca and Liverpool. I followed the link to an interview with Jordi Farre, (who is a presidential candidate for Barcelona) on a Spanish site, and chose the Google Translate of the page:
https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/jordi-farre-el-barca-debe-regenerarse-necesita-gente-nueva-8084885
The interview is about how Barcelona are in the mess it is in now.
The paragraph of concern is:
"If Koeman works and does it well, I would, of course. Obviously, we have our roadmap and we had already started several conversations with Jürgen Klopp, because it seems to us that Barça need such a coach."
I hope nothing becomes of the talks.
Barcelona after Klopp?

First off the title of this article is pure clickbait.
second it only takes 5 seconds to see its complete rubbish.
you have a hopeful candidate for the presidency of barca doing the usual lying and throwing names about.
this is why barca are in such trouble. no deep and meaningful discussion but rather placate and buy off fans by talking big names.
you.can see koeman is on a hiding to nothing there when he's got no real political support.
for the record klopp is doing his contract to 2024 and then is retiring.

Klopp will see out his current contract at the absolute minimum...unless of course something drastic happens like the world ends or something.

It will be sad to see him leave, but I think this is the right move. Bye bye Klopp, now Liverpool can go back to being shiiit again. Thank furrrk.

I do think Klopp will manage Barca one day, perhaps after he takes his sabbatical. He'll fancy a go at La Liga before he retires and I expect Barca will seem more attractive to him than Real.
He'll be here with us until his contract ends i'm sure.
Gives Barca 4-5 years to get back properly challenging again and rebuild their side such that Klopp will want to take over there. Big job for Koeman and whoever follows him.
