I see Chilwell as Just slightly better level to awb, so 50 mill isn’t horrible in the current climate. Cl experience and from a rival. Still find the money in football ridiculous though.

Chilwell is great going forward but generally an overrated player.

I thought his biggest weakness was crosses etc going forward? I think the main thing he will bring to us is balance. Stop us having to play azpilicueta there or alonso who can’t run

Nah he'll be a great signing i think. Englands top LB by a mile and you needed one. Can do a bit both ways and when ive seen him play alright its mainly been going forward.
This season especially he hasnt been great defensively at all but doesnt mean he isnt an upgrade on what Chelsea already have. At an age where he can continue to develop that side of the game too.

I think he'll end up being a decent signing. Wan-Bissaka cost United 50m last year and Chilwell is England's first choice left back so the price seems fair. I think he's decent defensively but needs to improve going forward. But playing with better players may improve him.
