I'm sure he was provoked, and I can understand his reaction towards those who provoked him : it's human. What I can't accept is his behavior towards the police officers and his attempt to bribe them. That's silly.

If that is how it happened. I feel like all of the judgement should be reserved until after all of the trials, etc, have been completed.

Stupid to put yourself in that position, but so far there's not been a massive amount of proof that he actually attempted to bribe them, or assaulted them.

Other than their word, which doesn't seem to be worth that much when you consider how quickly the trial was forced through & how many attempts were made to prevent his legal defence from offering a proper defence (such as not actually giving them the charges until just before the trial started...)

Personally, I'm going to hang fire with my judgement until after the retrial.Only that he's a muppet for just being in that situation in the first place.

Totally agree.

Just because Officer Tzatziki said Maguire tried to bribe his way out of it doesn't make it so. Wouldn't trust that lot if they said the sky was blue.

What I can't understand is why these footballers are going to highly populated places when they could rent a villa somewhere and have it all brought to them
