I've seen a couple of the reports, they are confusing at best, misleading at worst, none make it clear if the players have tested positive or not, so far.

They also state that 14 players have tested positive accross 12 clubs. If those 4 players are positive then that means there are 10 other positive players and if Chelsea I'd one of those clubs then that means there are 11 other clubs affected but only 10 players?

I expect if the story grows well hear from the club but unless some more concrete info comes out I expect this story to quietly fade away.

Not inconceivable that the players coming back from Greece have been told to self-isolate as a precaution, virus can manifest itself after a negative test.

Also possible that the likes of Emerson & Jorginho are staying away from training because they are on their way out of club.

I doubt Mount & Tammy would be in the England squad, if they had tested positive.
I'd like to think Southgate was informed on the situation beforehand...

I've just checked with my mate who works at Cobham, Friday and Saturdays trading was cancelled and they were tested positive he believes. So this may be true after all.

JFDI, Does he know which players specifically tested positive and which ones are just self-isolating because they came into close contact with the positive...?


I would have thought every squad member would have been tested before they were allowed to enter the training compound?

I didn't ask for specific details, just about the 4 listed, it sounds like more than just those 4 are self isolating though so some I think are as a precaution. Latest article I read is that mount and Abraham will be available for England duty and that Southgate was aware of the situation. I don't like to ask my mate for too much, his job could be at risk if he is thought to be leaking info, he's a good lad even though Chelsea is not his team.
