As someone who was quite sceptical of this transfer only due to his Silva's age I've been won over watching him in the CL Final and that physically he looks great and could easily pass for someone in their 20's. Looks like he has quite a bit left in the tank, hopefully he can quickly adjust to the speed of the PL. Then again he's trained again Neymar and Mbappe every day so he's certainly used to quick strikers.

I've never thought that actually, so much is happening this summer there's split second moments where I forget we've even signed Werner. It was over two months ago after all

That teasing comment was more about us signing EVERYONE & you pulling out of deals for Championship LB's

He'll make you different, not better. I want you to get him for stylistic reasons as a non-Liverpool fan & I'll leave it there.

I've got a weird feeling (based on nothing) you'll pull out of that deal & settle for re-signing Luis Alberto. Fills the same void & will probably be cheaper, and is a much better player now than the one Rodgers signed.

Not fussed about Alcantara if Wij isn't leaving.
