TYLER WALKER LEAVES

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53952454

Really sad to see him move on, but he’s worth more than a bit-part player, which is what’s he’s been used as here - I really wish he’d have been given a better chance - good luck to the lad - I just hope it doesn’t come back to haunt us

LUKE FREEMAN ARRIVES

It seems we’re doing some serious business in the transfer market, but sadly it also looks like both Cash and Worrall will be on their way in the next week or so

Rev, spot on, seemed strange to recall Walker from his successful loan spell and then not use him. He definitely deserved a better chance than he got but for some reason SL decided Mighten was the better fit at the end of the season. I would be really sad to see Cash depart, as he is fast becoming a ‘Stuart Pearce’ like ‘cult’ figure at the CG, I mean in popularity not position obviously. If we got North of £20m for the pair and it was re-invested in the team then thats business, but I fear the money, like plenty more recently will be used to pay our over inflated wage bill and keep us out of FFP. Sadly as long as we remain in the Championship then we will always have our best assets cherry picked by the Premiership pretenders such as Villa, who should have been relegated but for an atrocious decision against the blunts, that single point saved them, but not sure how long for. If Cash goes good luck to him, Worrall too, but Cash can do better than Premiership cannon fodder.

Good luck to Tyler, not sure he was given a proper chance last season?
Possibly not the fault of the Coach though.

Cash to Villa for 12-13m looks like a done deal. What is the point of having a ‘release fee’ of 15m ?as I said before it shows where we are as a club.

Yep, so long as we remain in this Division, we’ll be a feeder Club for any team in the PL, irrespective of who they are

It’s a sad state of affairs

Yep, btw we just beat WBA 1-0 in a pre season friendly Walker scored the goal, promising.

Sorry Taylor 😂

Maybe his dad being who he is or the expectations were just too much for him to play as well as he can for us but he never really looked like he could make the shirt his own. He showed plenty of flashes but nevr really had a MOTM game or even come close. (Like Mighten did at Stamford Bridge).

Wish it could have worked out but he will do well at Cov and have a good career. Good luck to the lad.
