Who here has watched it already ? obviously I won’t spoil it for anyone to much, but even the most skeptical of Jose Mourinho critics on here can’t tell me that he doesn’t come across absolutely fantastic in this. Some people will say it’s for the cameras, but I genuinely think that’s the way he is at his clubs.
If you don’t put in the effort and give him 100%, then he lets you know that and doesn’t shy away from it, hence the Ndombele situation currently. Even the digs at Dele Ali being a poor trainer, but letting him know he believes he’s a fantastic talent. This is why Jose is so successful throughout his whole career.
This documentary gives you an insight into his way of thinking and what goes on at Spurs. It’s honestly fascinating. One thing I will say, Harry Kane as we all know is a god at this club. The day he leaves, the day a part of this club falls apart. It’s imperative we win the trophies under Mourinho and keep Harry here long term.

Watched the first episode. Enjoyed it. What I don't understand though, wasn't this supposed to be the whole season initially? But then they just fast forward to Jose taking over? Is that because the show would have been boring as feck without him?

yes said this before, it was the reason he was brought in

Its a shame they edited it to look like Poch and the squad were bored of each other in the first 20 mins of the first episode.

Yes bit of shame there wasn't more in depth analysis there to really see what was going on. Saying that the players are such dullards with next to zero personality maybe there was t much to go on.
I can't stand Mou's football but he's got personality and is an engaging individual just a shame his team's play such boring football.

Still not sure about the object of producing this series, surely not to entertain Spurs fans, is there a large enough market in US for soccer documentaries or is it designed to sell Tottenham Hotspur FC to overseas buyers?

If you think Spurs have a small fan base not worthy of a series then ask yourselves about the likes of Leeds and Sunderland. Man City dont have fans outside of Manchester.
Off the back of this Spurs and Amazon are developing a retail partnership and that may well extend beyond that into something much greater. We have very innovative ownership on the commercial side, some of our sponsor deals, NFL links and multi-use of the stadium shows that commercially we are always pushing the boundaries so dont be surprised by anything that may come from a THFC & Amazon link.
