If it was me, I would want to say bye and feel the warm glow of daggers in my back.

I should never have come on here and apart from BBC HYS it's the only social media I do.

Think I would ride off into the sunset like Clint, then log on to see who said what.

I don't understand why people always need to announce their departure on a forumjust stop posting

Seen plenty of people simply stop posting and then people who have chatted with them for years on here begin to worry if something bad has happened to them.

Nothing wrong with giving a heads up to people you’ve spoken to for a long time. If it was someone who joined the forum then left a week later then I’d agree that’s weird.

It's a weird place that I love and hate in equal measure and I know I create that feeling too among posters....well, not love.

When I see a poster gone who has mental issues I do wonder....or the guys brave enough to admit to it.

As you say, nowt wring with saying goodbye, had enough, and good luck.
