The "physicality" of the EPL will not be a problem for him, from what I've what I've seen of him.

Besides, he's got something too many current United players don't have, he's both technically well coached and has genuine football intelligence and that makes him already well-suited AND adaptable.

Imagine two ~30 year old men approaching a 23 year old teammate in the national team and trying to intimidate him just because he signed for a rival club. Classless, but I wouldn't expect anything better from anyone associated with Liverpool.

I don't understand how anybody could translate these comments into a couple of bitter scousers trying to warn Van Beek away from joining United or even being worried about him actually joining us. I am sure Donny is well aware that this is the toughest league in the World already and it is probably the main reason why he has decided to come to England over Spain or Italy. Just like Dyk Van Dyke and Winjaldum did themselves.

Having just watched the obligatory YouTube clips of Beekers I don’t think the physicality of our league is going to be a problem for him.

He looks to be a strong lad when on the ball. Good technically and two footed.
