Super Ally McCoist

Well, who'd have thought it? Super Ally McCoist has steered his team to a 7 point lead at the top of the SPL so early in the season. It could, some might even say should, be 10 points by the time THEY kick off on Sunday, IF we beat Hibs at Ibrox on Saturday. Granted, they'll have two games in hand, but as we've heard so many times before... "You have to win them".

So, hats off to you Alistair, considering some people had you sacked by Christmas. Hopefully you can build on this fine start and help us win our WORLD RECORD 55th league title...

Jinky, you seem to be pinning a lot of your hopes on the tax man and us selling our best players. It doesn't say very much for your team, or indeed your manager if you need to rely on such things. You speak of "the talk", but we've been hearing this same talk for the past 3 years and we've still stormed to 3 in a row. Maybe you lot should do less talking.. Younger, fitter, faster, runners up!

Willie

Lets see but if you read my first post you will see I said even if you don't sell in Jan there will still be points dropt by both sides, and yes a big game on Sunday but if we win that then its back to 7 with us having a game in hand against Dunferline and we should win that, and then we play each other 3 times so the league is far from over and any idiot that thinks diffrent then just look at the last couple of season

So willie talk the talk all you want as I will wait an see what happens at the end of the year

If Davis had been of a mind to leave he would have pushed for a transfer. Naismith will be going nowhere.
Jelavic? I am in the minority but I think he will go in
the next window. I thought we were brave to hang onto
him in the Summer but think we will lose the battle ahead. A huge blow, but not any greater than losing KM last January.

Ally will then have to show he can bring in someone who can fit in and provide the goals we need. Which I
am confident he can do, it is interesting though that some Celtic fans have gone from beratting Rangers to
absolute desperation to see our better players sold.

Its our Title

I like your posts your honest and agree with most of them, but I am not pinning my hopes on you selling your best player s, I hope they do stay as if we win the league then I want it against a good Rangers side

But with the transfer window coming up again EPL clubs look at our league as they no there is no money in it and will try and test us with offers for our players, this is FACT and in other posts I have said it winds me the F...CK up, but that s life.

Coisty is doing very well and at the start of the season thought the flack he got from some fans on here was unfair as like I have said he can only work with what he is given, and think he has done a fantastic job, but he has learned from the Master Walter......There is still a long way to go in this league but you have started well, like we started better towards the end of last year, so maybe we might do this again, who knows

Fair enough Jinky, the post was in response to some of the fans who were unfair to Ally in the summer and were making judgement on him before a ball was even kicked.

i don't see why anybody would find it hard to believe that Rangers had an 8 or 9 million pound bid for Jelavic

he was bought for 4 million

there was a 6.5m bid rejected

surely the only reasonable offer would be up towards 8 or 9 million?

whyte more or less said he would have sold him if the bid wasn't so late that there was no time to get another striker in

that makes you think he is going to be sold in january

if he goes we should have 3 or 4 million to spend on a replacement surely

Davis and Naismith i don't think would push for a move in the middle of the season but there could be big bids for them aswell. both would cost more than 5 million anyway

naismith is the best player in scotland so far this season,Davis has been good aswell

if we lose more than one of these players we will struggle
