And what another dramatic weekend. Was this the most defining Gameweek yet, as, in the Matchup of the Week, saw our Title contenders go head 2 head..

JHernandez 33 v 53 Merry S.S -
JH’s title charge took a stumble as the Champion Merry handed out a lesson in what it takes to be a Champ.
Merry extends his lead at the top to 8, and things starting to look ominous for the rest of the league. Can Merry be stopped?. JH has a bye week next, as he has a great chance to bounce back with an easy win.

Analog 36 v 30 SuperFrank - a close affair this, but Analog came wary with the 3 points. Both teams have been struggling for consistency to Mount a challenge but just aboot doing enough to stay out of trouble.
But both managers will be having to work that waiver wire, cos a few of their players are either injured/suspended,

StringerBell 50 v 32 PrankyPooFace
The first of 2 Grudge matches of the week, saw Pranks suffer a humiliating defeat, so sacred was he going into the match, he decided not to take the name change bet.
Strings team, just laid on a beatdown anyway.
Pranks goes back into the relegation zone, while String sets his sights on Merry next.

Speaking of Relegation… Grudge Match No:2
Pun 21 v 51 D’Jeezus Mackaroni - Bad day at the office for Pun, as he saw his team get cut adrift from the rest, anchored at the Bottom of the League.
DJs impressive Smackdown of Puns team keeps him in touch with the mid-table teams, but still in the relegation zone.
Pun needs 3 points desperately, but faces JH next

Merry solidifies his spot at the top for Xmas ‘24
