The defence can be improved, for sure. But arguably moreso in an offensive manner than a defensive one.

We’ve got a pretty decent base to build on there already, and if we look at the second half of last season - 12 clean sheets in 19 PL games -, if we can maintain that kind of defensive form, we’ll be well set.

I agree with you. What is the point of international football. I was watching Holland vs Italy yesterday and it was painful to watch.

Why watch it then? All you do is piiiiiss and moan about it.

I like international football. It's a chance for me and my friends to support the same team for once. We've had some great trips with Wales even if the results have not gone in our favour a lot of times.

Pickford is the most overrated English player by a distince, he got all this hype a few years back but he's not improved since then.

I don’t think many people even rate Pickford. Wouldn’t call him overrated at all.

I don't care if players skip national team duty.

I have to wonder why during a Pandemic that internationals are even happening.

I guess that applies to all football but low priority stuff should be binned off.
