There we go Elvis. The BBC reporting rumours as fact.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Erm. How do you know its a rumour?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bevause its completly unsubstantiated nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
selective bias at its finest. Fans wanting Sancho choosing to believe every rumour from whoever even when same source has been wrong on multiple occassions.
on the other hand they dismiss anything that suggests the player is not coming as posturing etc

https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/solskjaer-transfer-update-man-utd-pursuit-sancho/thz1wg20vhbx1lmxjlvr85hso
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nothing selective about trusting BBC Sport when they report something as fact. They have a very high standard of reporting.

And the story that you have posted containing Ole's quotes means nothing. At a time where we appear to be looking to bring down the price of Sancho, he's not going to start shouting about how much money we have got to spend is he? That's Ed's job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for proving my point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven't proven your point at all. If you can provide me with some evidence of BBC Sport making stories up in the same way that the tabloids do, I'd be happy to consider them.

When such transfer rumours are going round the BBC are the only outlet that I really trust. When they report something as fact it is because they have a source. They don't just make stuff up. Which is why they don't often report on ongoing transfer sagas and instead run a gossip section where they report rumours from other outlets. Only when they have a source of their own do they run a proper story on such matters.

Can you not read? The story from a month ago said that despite reports to the contrary, United have not agreed personal terms with Sancho. So whilst everyone else was claiming we'd agreed wages, the BBC said that wasn't the case.

The latest story from the BBC reports that we have now agreed personal terms - as well as agent fees.

How exactly is that a rehash of the same story?

Simon Stone is a club mouthpiece.

you are right Elvis I clearly did not read the story

the fact remains the same thing was reported over a month ago (by others) and I am frankly to lazy to go find every article bbc sport or simon stone have been wrong about as I demonstrated earlier.

I don't care that others reported the same thing months ago. I take most other outlets with a pinch of salt. But the BBC don't write an article like that without a source. Which is why I am confident that we are in for Sancho this summer.

Simon Stone gets his info from the club.

If that were the case then he should quote the source from the club.

Otherwise he could just as easily make it up.

I see your logic now and it is sound
but in recent years the bbc like skysports have also fallen into the same trap of reporting rumours as facts.

nonetheless the bbc is probably the most reliable source but still not perfect

I really don't think that they have fallen into that trap. Sky have always been crap. More so since the advent of skybet. They basically use transfer rumours to drive betting on their markets. The BBC have always retained their integrity in terms of transfer rumours for me. If they don't have any solid info then they just use the gossip section to report on rumours from the other outlets. When they do have solid info they run their own story.

I must be the only one who is slightly underwhelmed by Sancho.

I have seen him a handful of games and he had been pants in all of them.

I have to be the only one who hasn’t seen any of his good games for Dortmund.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Certainly do not see why he is worth 100m
