How do people rate our chances today? I'd rate them alot higher if the quality we signed in the summer could actually play or the mendy deal was done. That being said we performed quiet well against Liverpool last season even if we didn't get the results. The big thing for me today is that we can't start alonso, salah will have a field day if he plays anything like he did against Leeds. I'm going to go for a 2 - 2 draw with a brace for werner, think he can have some real success operating in behind TAA on that left channel.

I’m hoping last week was a wake up call for us, and we’ll see our defence far more focussed than last week. If that’s the case then I think we’ll win, as we seem to have it the ground running in an attacking sense.

Gomez has more pace than Matip which means he will get the nod. He needs to be more disciplined and not go hunting the ball in midfield.

We've proven going back to the Sarri days we can give Liverpool a game atm. Haven't been outplayed the last 6 games against them (including cups) while they've been OP.
It's a weird one. They are better than us, and we may well lose, but I don't fear them. Play like we usually do against them we have a solid chance.
