Seems Mourinho has gotten under Levy's skin. We may not be done hiring yet, and the latest rumored target is not even back-up for Kane, although perhaps Bale will fill that role:
Tottenham are eager to sign Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard - according to Daily Star.
Ex-Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with the 27-year-old at Spurs, who are plotting a £30 million ($39m) swoop for his services.
Lingard hasn't started a Premier League game since January, and was left out of United's squad for their opening fixture of the new season against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

It's not even his ability, there are aspects of his game that I rate. He'll train and work hard and maybe Spurs need a bit of that in the dressing room.
He just comes across as an immature pr!ck though.

Lived on memories of his best seasons, and has no other ambition!
Contrast that with Ronaldo! At his old age, he is still hungry to get better!
